Beast Battle - Katla/Turtle vs. Dactara

I am sitting in my nest feeling the wind and rain on my back and the right side of my face, when suddenly I heard a rock fall from the cliffs, I look down and see two warriors trying to clim up the cliff, it looked like they were struggling, I let out a spine tingling roar to warn them not to come up.

I could barely hear Katara over the noise of the wind and rain but I soon found out when I heard the gut wrenching roar of the beast. If I continued climbing that would bring death to me but my curiosity got the better of me. I wanted to see the beast, one of the marvels of this world. I kept climbing, soon reaching beside Katara.

I looked down again, they were still climbing, I let out a louder roar as loud as i could go, but this was no warning, I jumped up and flew down so I could get a more clear few, they were forty meters from the top, I swooped between them and the top of the cliff gripping the cliff side loosely so that I would slide down to cause an avalanche.

I winced as a shower of rocks hit my head. I heard a scream piercing the air and I noticed the voice to be katara's. Just then a huge rock scraped my forehead and I screamed in agony. I clung to the face of the cliff and I hoped I really would not fall. I concentrated on my spells and the dragon, stealing the air from it's lungs and choking it.

I kicked off the cliff face, the rocks were falling on them, I herd the screeching from both of them, it rang in my ears, one of the warriors saw that I did not like it so it kept screaming, I could not bear it any more so I flew to my nest but before I got there I noticed that the other warrior was trying to forecast on something, I sat in my nest when suddenly I could not breath, I was choking but there was nothing around me, I don't understand what was happening, I felt myself weakening as I slowly fell to the floor of my nest, I thought I was at the brink of death when suddenly I could breath again, I let in a huge amount of air and started to cough, once I got my breath back I flew down and pinpointed the warrior that wasn't injured, I flew as fast as I could, I grabbed it with my sharp talons, it screamed which hurt my ears, I flew to my nest, slammed the worrier on the floor and roared in it's face.

The beast had me captured in it's giant talons, I could not escape. The moment the dactara slammed me down in it's nest I heard an awful scream ringing in my ears, only when the beast was off me I noticed it was my scream. I noticed my fellow warrior on the back of the dactara slashing wildly with her knife. I stood up on my still trembling legs and tried to recover my strength. I raised my hands towards the beast with my fingertips buzzing with lighting which I let loose on the dactara. Queen turtle jumped out of the way just as the lightening hit the beast .

I felt something jump on my back and something slicing my wings, I tried to shake it off but it kept hanging on, it finely fell off and hit it's head on the side of my nest, but at the some time I was struck with lightning, I felt the shock waves go through my inter body, I fell forward, my hole body was numb, I tried to move but I couldn't, this was harder than I thought, I had under estimated the worriers ubilities, I lay there thinking of how I could defeat them, I felt something go through me, I am fed up with these worriers, I lunched at the worrier that jumped at me, I tore it's head and flung it off the cliff, I turned to face the other worrier, I jumped at it but I didn't try to kill it, again I roared in it's face, it was to scared to do anything which is exactly what I won't.

I panicked. I was not so strong and the queen turtle fell from the side of the cliff  into the abyss below. Suddenly it was hard to breathe, I knew it was because I was in a desperate stat of fear. I saw the beast slowly coming forward, If I took one more step backwards I would suffer the same fate as Queen turtle. from the corner of my eye I saw a Queen turtle trying to attack the beast but going right through. She was a spirit. An idea formed in my head.
A hint of a smile playing at my lips, I let out a piercing call. The beast recoiled and let out a roar. My call was answered by hundreds and hundreds of spirits, all with ancient magic running through their blood. They formed a circle around the beast as it slashed at the spirits in vein. It was true that they were dead but their magic was not. All of us began chanting a spell, the beast kept attacking, threads of magic running around it, this would slowly turn the beast into a spirit. In that form it was of no harm.
